Refund Policy
Try Lore free for 30 days with no card. If you then pay and it isn’t right for you, ask within 30 days of a charge and we’ll refund it in full, once per studio. No reason needed.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
Free trial
New studios get 30 days free, and we don’t ask for a card to start, so there’s nothing to refund. You’re only charged once you choose a paid plan.
30-day money-back guarantee
- Monthly plans: we’ll refund your most recent monthly charge in full if you ask within 30 days of it.
- Yearly plans: we’ll refund your most recent yearly charge in full if you ask within 30 days of it. After 30 days, yearly plans aren’t refunded or pro-rated, and your plan runs to the end of the year you paid for.
- Extra events ($15 each): we’ll refund an extra-event charge within 30 days if the event was added by mistake and never went live.
- The guarantee can be used once per studio (including any related or successor account).
- Earlier charges, charges outside their 30-day window, and extra-event charges for events that went live aren’t refunded.
- We may decline a refund if the account broke our Terms or the request looks like abuse of this policy.
When we refund your latest subscription charge, your plan ends at that point. Your books stay readable for 30 days so you and your clients can export them, as with any cancellation.
How to ask
Email support@lorebooth.com from your account email with your studio name and the charge (date or amount). We usually reply within two business days. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually arrive in 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. Any tax charged is refunded with it.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time from Billing in your dashboard. You keep full access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. Cancelling on its own doesn’t refund the current period; ask us within the 30-day window if you want that.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we can almost always fix it faster. While a dispute is open we may suspend your account. If you dispute a charge you agreed to and the dispute is decided in our favor, you’ll owe the charge plus any dispute fee our payment processor charged us.
Everything else
Apart from this policy, fees are non-refundable and not pro-rated, as set out in our Terms. Outages, slow performance or problems at an event don’t entitle you to a refund or credit, though we’re always glad to help. Lore is sold to businesses; nothing in this policy limits rights the law gives you that can’t be waived. We may update this policy; changes apply to charges made after the update.
